About Art by Jing
Hello, I’m Jing Wang, a Chinese designer and illustrator based in Finland. I studied applied arts and design at Aalto University, where I learned to see beauty in simplicity and respect in every detail.
I am also the founder of Upcycle with Jing, a sustainable jewelry brand that transforms discarded plastic into wearable art. But after the birth of my child, I found myself longing for something more intimate: a way to reconnect with myself. That’s when painting became my healing space. With every brushstroke, I discovered comfort, courage, and a quiet joy that reminded me of my own value.
Art by Jing was born from this journey. My works are created in watercolor and iPad Procreate, carrying influences from Nordic minimalism, Chinese sensibility, and Japanese aesthetics. They reflect my love for nature, culture, and everyday life, the things that make the world gentle yet vibrant.
